Ghostly Places is a video installation with quadraphonic sound design. It is part of Furkan Ak's ongoing artistic research on memory, immersive technologies, and the migratory heritage of Saint-Gilles, Brussels.. The project follows the night ghosts of St-Gilles through stories shared by Ak’s neighbors. Ghostly Places explores how cities remember and forget, how hidden histories linger in shadows, doorways, and everyday spaces.
